American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a weekend acute care travel assignment requiring 3+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification. The position is based in Kentucky near Georgetown, serving a 75-bed acute care hospital with GE Lightspeed CT scanners.

Required: ARRT CT and BLS, a valid license if applicable, and the ability to work in a busy environment. Weekend nights, on-call every 8th weekend and one holiday, with potential housing benefits and travel reimbursements.

Qualificações

• Must be proficient in both X-ray and CT imaging.

Responsabilidades

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging for a wide range of patients.
• Work under the Director of Radiology and Radiology Manager.
• Weekend shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM with 8th weekend and 1 holiday call.
• Must report to facility within 30 minutes of notification; on-call as assigned.
• Floating to other facilities as needed.

Requirements

• Must have skills/experience in both X-ray and CT
• Strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision required
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Responsibilities

• 75-bed acute care hospital setting within the Diagnostic Radiology department
• Patient population spans infant through geriatric, including bariatric patients
• Equipment includes GE Lightspeed 16 and 64 slice CT scanners and GE X-ray equipment
• EHR system used is MedHost
• Weekend schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shifts
• Call requirement of every 8th weekend and 1 holiday
• Must accept on-call assignments and report to facility within 30 minutes of notification
• Floating required as needed
• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures for a wide range of patient populations
• Works under the direction of the Director of Radiology and Radiology Manager
• Team player with strong dedication and work ethic preferred
• Black scrubs only, following facility dress code policy
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for travel rate
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at local rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• First-time travelers may be considered
