Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a free-standing Emergency and Urgent Care facility. The role requires 3+ years of experience and CT/X-ray multimodality skills, with ARRT (R)(CT) and SCRQSA certifications.

Shifts are 3x12 hours nights, weekends required, with no on-call. Initial assignment at the main hospital campus for ~2 weeks before transitioning to the stand-alone ER/UC site. Generous housing and travel benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CT/X-ray experience.
• BLS and ARRT (R)(CT) certifications required.
• SCRQSA (R) and SCRQSA (CT) certifications required.
• License required if applicable.
• Equipment experience with Siemens CT and X-ray, GE Portable.

Responsibilities

• Cover CT and X-ray modalities at a free-standing Emergency and Urgent Care facility.
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts, 7p–7a, with weekend requirements.
• No on-call or floating between units.
• Charting in Epic; travel-to-full-time transition from main hospital campus.

• Equipment experience required with Siemens CT and X-ray, and GE Portable
• Radiation badge required, must be provided by the agency
• Driver's license required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Multimodality Tech role covering both CT and X-Ray
• Free-standing Emergency and Urgent Care facility with 12 staffed beds
• 3x12 hour night shifts, 7p-7a, scheduled Sunday through Saturday depending on facility needs
• Weekend shifts required
• No on-call requirement
• No floating between units or sister facilities required
• Charting is done in Epic
• Traveler will begin the contract at the main hospital campus for approximately 2 weeks before transitioning full-time to the Free-Standing Emergency Room and Urgent Care facility
• Facility is a free-standing Emergency and Urgent Care Center
• Scrub colors are teal and black
• Free parking available
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the health system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates within 60 miles are not accepted for this position
• Block scheduling accommodations may be requested but are not guaranteed
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration; approval is based on facility needs
• During hurricane season (June through November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
