Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a short-term acute care hospital. Requires 2+ years of CT experience, ARRT-CT/BLS/ARRT-R certifications, and travel experience. The facility uses Siemens and Philips CT systems with PACS and Epic charting.

Shifts are 3x12 hours (8:00 AM–8:00 PM) on Fri, Sat and Mon; on-call 2–4 shifts/month; housing and travel reimbursements provided for travelers. Local candidates are not accepted; remote work not available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience.
• BLS, ARRT-CT, and ARRT-R certifications required (license if applicable).
• Community hospital experience; travel experience required.
• Proficiency in abdomen, pelvis, chest and head/neck CT with/without contrast.
• Experience with spine and musculoskeletal CT imaging.
• Experience with special procedures such as biopsies and brain perfusion.
• Proficient in MRP and image post-processing; IV starts and contrast prep.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging for adult acute care, outpatient and ED patients.
• Operate in short-term acute care hospital setting with 180 beds.
• 3x12 hour day shifts, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, Fri, Sat and Mon; 2–4 on-call shifts/month.
• Use Epic for charting; work with Siemens and Philips CT systems and PACS.
• Travel-ready candidate; may participate in holiday/weekend rotations.

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience to work at a short-term acute care hospital, requiring ARRT-CT certification and prior travel experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist required


• BLS, ARRT-CT, and ARRT-R certifications required (license required if applicable)


• Community hospital experience required; teaching hospital experience preferred


• Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted


• Proficiency in abdomen, pelvis, chest, and head/neck CT imaging with and without contrast


• Experience with spine and musculoskeletal imaging including cervical, lumbar, and thoracic regions


• Skilled in special procedures such as biopsies, brain perfusion, and vascular CTA preferred


• Experience with multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and image post-processing


• Proficiency in peripheral IV starts and contrast media preparation/administration


• Siemens and Philips equipment experience required

Responsibilities

• Short-term acute care hospital setting with 180 staffed beds


• CT Tech unit supporting adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department patients


• Average daily caseload of 65-75 cases


• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, working Friday, Saturday, and Monday


• On-call requirement of 2-4 call shifts per month


• Holiday coverage required on 12/24/26 (8p-6:30a) or 12/25/26 (8p-7a)


• No floating within scope or to sister facilities required


• Uses Epic for charting


• Equipment includes Siemens and Philips CT systems with PACS


• Perform CT imaging across adult acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings


• Scrubs provided


• Candidates must request RTO in advance; travelers may be required to participate in holiday and weekend rotation


• Local candidates are not accepted; must live more than 70 miles from the facility
