Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3+ years of experience to work night shifts at a free-standing emergency and urgent care facility.

Details

• Free-standing Emergency and Urgent Care facility with 12 staffed beds
• Multimodality CT/X-Ray position
• Contract begins at main hospital campus for approximately 2 weeks before transitioning to the Free-Standing ER and Urgent Care facility
• 3x12 hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, scheduled Sunday through Saturday depending on needs
• Weekend shifts required
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required between units or sister facilities
• Uses Siemens CT and X-ray equipment, and GE Portable equipment
• Epic EMR used

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience required
• BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT) certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Must provide own radiation badge, as the facility does not supply one to travelers
• Experience with Siemens and GE imaging equipment required
• SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered
• Teal and black scrub color required
• Free parking available
• Employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties during hurricane season (June through November)
• Block scheduling may be requested but is not guaranteed
• Approximately 4 hours of non-billable training modules required prior to start
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for consideration
• Previous MUSC staff (including PRN) must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a travel employee
• Local candidates considered only outside a 60-mile radius of the facility
