Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a free-standing emergency and urgent care facility, requiring 3+ years of experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification.

• Multimodality Tech role covering both CT and X-ray
• Free-standing Emergency and Urgent Care facility with 12 staffed beds
• Traveler will begin the contract at the main hospital campus for approximately 2 weeks before transitioning to the free-standing ER/UC site
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with weekend requirement
• No on-call requirement
• No floating between units or sister facilities required
• Uses Siemens CT and X-ray equipment and GE Portable equipment
• Charting completed in Epic

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist required
• BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT) certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Experience with Siemens CT/X-ray and GE Portable equipment required
• Must provide own radiation badge through agency, as facility does not supply one
• Driver's license and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered
• Teal and black scrub color required
• Free parking provided on-site
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates within 60 miles are not preferred, as MUSC prioritizes non-local candidates
• Facility may call off up to 1 shift per 2 weeks
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application, as later requests will not be accepted
• Block scheduling requests may be considered but are not guaranteed
• During hurricane season (June through November), staff may be assigned to emergency response teams
