Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level I Trauma facility, requiring at least 1 year of experience in a trauma setting and ARRT Radiography certification.

• Radiology unit within a 400-bed acute-care hospital
• Average of 180 CT exams per day across 3 scanners
• Staffing of 2 techs per scanner during the day and 3 techs total overnight
• Equipment includes GE 512, GE 128, and GE 32-slice CT scanners
• Documentation completed in Meditech
• Performs CT exams for ED and inpatient populations only
• Mon-Thurs schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a Level 1 trauma setting
• ARRT Radiography certification required; CT certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Ability to operate GE CT equipment independently
• Ability to perform routine CT exams including trauma pan scans, head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis, extremities, and CTA
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months
