Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel CT Technologist for a night shift assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. The 36-hour workweek consists of 3x12-hour nights at a Level I trauma center.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years CT experience, ARRT CT and ARRT(R) certification, and BLS. Familiarity with cardiac, stroke, and trauma imaging, plus experience on GE/Philips/Siemens/Toshiba scanners and PACS, is preferred.

Qualifications

• Trauma Level I experience required.

• 1+ year Epic EMR experience required.

• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging studies across abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, and head/neck.
• May involve management or lead experience in a clinical setting.
• Orientation occurs every Monday with annual compliance training required.
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role.
• Local candidates may be accepted depending on distance from facility, subject to radius requirements.
• Travelers must meet minimum distance requirements from the facility to be eligible for this assignment.

Details

• Night shift CT Tech position in a Trauma Level I facility
• Schedule is Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 3x12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient population includes adult acute care and outpatient cases
• Performs CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, head, and neck with and without contrast
• Equipment used includes GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba scanners with PACS system
• May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs and demonstrated competencies
