American Traveler, LLC seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for a hospital OR position with Ortho/Joint experience and NBSTSA and DORA certifications. The role involves supporting a 14-OR unit with Neuro/Spine cases, using Meditech EMR, and a 13-week assignment.

The schedule is day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with on-call and potential evening shifts; travel, licensure reimbursements, and housing support are provided.

Qualifications

• NBSTSA certification required.
• DORA certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• State licensure required if applicable.
• Ortho/Joint experience required.
• Competency in Neuro/Spine procedures required.

Responsibilities

• Hospital OR unit with 14 operating rooms and 70 FTE staff.
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge, 1 RN and 1 ST per OR, plus PCTs, ATs and a trauma team.
• Night shift staffing includes 1 charge, 1 RN, and 1 ST.
• Patient ratio of 1:1 (estimated, not guaranteed).
• Typical procedures include Neuro, Transplants, Ortho, and Spine cases.
• Uses Meditech EMR.
• 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM shift with flexibility for day/evening hours as needed.
• On-call requirement of 1-2 shifts per week, 5 PM to 7 PM.
• 13-week assignment.
• Support surgical teams across a high-volume, 14-OR surgical department.
• Work alongside a trauma team and multidisciplinary staff including PCTs and ATs.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork, accountability, and self-direction.
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility, local candidates will not be considered.
