Travel Construction Superintendent - Grocery & Retail

We’re looking for an experienced Travel Construction Superintendent with a strong background in commercial construction, especially grocery store and retail projects. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys managing projects from start to finish in fast‑paced environments, while keeping safety, quality, and efficiency top of mind.

What You’ll Do

• Lead all on‑site construction activities for grocery store and retail projects, ensuring work meets specifications and quality standards.
• Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and construction teams, fostering teamwork and productivity.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and milestones, addressing potential risks or delays early to keep projects on track.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and company policies.
• Maintain open communication with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams, providing updates and solutions as needed.
• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient execution.
• Coordinate logistics, deliveries, and on‑site resources to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and closeout materials for accurate record‑keeping.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, ideally in grocery store, retail, or similar commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, scheduling, budgeting, and project management practices.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide subcontractors and crews.
