Job summary

HireCare Services - Vermont is seeking a motivated Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a traveling contract across Vermont. This role offers competitive pay, housing and meal stipends, and comprehensive benefits for dedicated caregivers.

You will provide high-quality ADL support and clinical care in various patient settings, while maintaining compassionate communication with residents and staff. Licensure in Vermont is required; ready availability for travel is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered State of Vermont CNA License.
• Strong communication skills with Residents, Nurse(s), and Staff.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and tact in diverse situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs: feeding, ambulation, turning and positioning.
• Provide basic nursing care including baths, oral and skin care.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Record vital signs, weight, intake and output.
• Perform perineal and incontinence care as needed.
• Notice changes in patient condition and report.
• Keep a neat and safe patient environment; complete daily forms.
• Be flexible with different assignments.
