Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Vermont CNA license.
• Strong communication with residents, nurses and staff.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to handle different situations with tact and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide ADL assistance including meals, feeding, ambulating, turning, and positioning.
• Provide physical care (baths, hair, oral, back, and elimination care).
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers of patients.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, intake, and output.
• Perform routine perineal and incontinence care.
• Observe and report changes in a patient’s general condition.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and safe patient environment.
• Complete daily documentation accurately on required forms.
• Demonstrate flexibility in accepting different assignments.
