Job summary

HireCare Services - Vermont seeks a motivated Travel Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a traveling contract in Vermont. As a travel CNA, you will provide compassionate care across various settings, delivering ADL support, vital signs, and patient comfort while adhering to care plans.

The ideal candidate holds a current Vermont CNA license, communicates clearly with residents and staff, and demonstrates critical thinking and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered State of Vermont CNA License.
• Strong communication skills to communicate with Residents, Nurse(s), and Staff.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English Language.
• Critical thinking skills.
• Ability to handle different situations with tact.

Responsibilities

• Provides for ADL's by assisting with serving meals and feeding patients as necessary, ambulating, turning, and positioning patients.
• Administration of physical care, including baths, hair care, oral care, back care, elimination care, etc.
• Admission, discharge, and transfer of patients.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, intake, and output information.
• Perform routine perineal area and incontinence care.
• Observe and report any changes in patient's general condition.
• Maintain a neat and safe patient environment.
• Complete documentation daily and accurately on required forms.
• Flexibility in accepting different assignments.
