Job summary

Pilot Flying J is seeking a highly-skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager in our high-volume travel center restaurant. You will lead and coach team members, ensure guest satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and safety, and help manage daily operations.

Responsibilities include filling in for the GM, directing work, training staff, and maintaining a positive, efficient work environment while delivering exceptional service and value to guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum one-year food service management experience required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Fill in for the Restaurant General Manager.
• Assist GM in selecting, coaching, training and developing Team Members.
• Direct and assign work to Team Members.
• Create a positive work environment for team members.
• Expedite food service and assist with food preparation.
• Ensure high level of guest satisfaction, food quality, restaurant cleanliness, and a strong food safety environment.
