Job summary

Pilot Flying J is seeking an experienced Retail Assistant Manager to oversee our high-volume travel center and restaurant facility. You will drive sales, ensure customer satisfaction, and execute business plans to meet standards and profit objectives.

You will build and coach teams, manage staffing, conduct meetings, supervise inventory, and perform P&L analysis, while working a flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of management experience in the retail, restaurant, grocery or other service industry with responsibility for financial results.
• Previous management proficiency in high volume retail with P&L accountability.
• Ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture.
• Flexible schedule including nights, days, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and oversee daily operations of a high-volume retail facility.
• Build, coach and develop teams from staffing, interviewing, hiring and training perspectives.
• Track inventory and provide exceptional customer service.
