Job summary

Blue Stone Strategy Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in the daily operations of the travel center, including retail, fuel, food service, and customer service. You will lead shifts, supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure safe, efficient, and profitable operations on site in Clear Lake, CA.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to handle cash, POS, and food-service responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Retail, convenience store, restaurant, hospitality, fuel-center, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Cash-handling and customer-service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional service to customers, drivers, vendors, and team members.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and motivate employees.
• Open and close the location according to company procedures.
• Monitor sales, labor, expenses, waste, and inventory to meet performance goals.
• Assist with staffing and shift coverage as needed.
