Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse in Lewiston, Maine to support our partner hospital's Coronary Care Unit. This 12-week assignment offers day and night shifts, with competitive pay per shift and weekly pay.

You will monitor patient care, adjust plans as needed, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and quality. Eligible candidates hold an RN license, BLS/ACLS, and CCU experience.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year staff nurse experience in an acute care hospital; critical care setting required.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain.

Responsibilities

• Monitor quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implement immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conduct patient and family rounds to enhance the patient experience.
• Serve as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provide direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Support daily unit operations and communicate patient care or safety concerns.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate staff; assist with performance management.
• Ensure adequate supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels.
• Coordinate with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversee nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current and valid state RN
2. Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain
3. Current ACLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain
4. Minimum of one year staff nurse in an acute care hospital setting; Critical Care setting required
5. Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintain

Pay Transparency:

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $41.44 to $57.43. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
