Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse for Lewiston, Maine. The assignment spans 12 weeks with days and nights shifts, providing direct patient care in the Coronary Care Unit to promote safety and high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating staffing, and ensuring regulatory compliance, while delivering exceptional care and supporting efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year staff nurse experience in an acute care hospital setting; Critical Care setting required.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within 6 months of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Supports daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management.
• Ensures adequate supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels.
• Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversees nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift.

Pay Transparency:

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $41.44 to $57.43. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
