Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse for day shifts at a Lewiston hospital in Maine. You will monitor care, respond to changes, and coordinate with the team to maintain safe staffing ratios.

Requires state RN license, BLS and ACLS on hire, and at least 1 year in acute care or critical care. Pay ranges from $52 to $60 per hour; assignments run 12 weeks with weekly pay and strong support from dedicated career specialists.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year as staff nurse in an acute/critical care setting.
• Behavioral Violence Prevention certificate within 6 months of hire and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Supports daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management.
• Ensures adequate supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels.
• Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversees nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift.

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $52.00 to $60.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
