Job summary

Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a CCU Registered Nurse for a 12-week assignment in Lewiston, Maine. The role focuses on critical care, patient safety, and coordinating with the team to maintain appropriate staffing levels.

Current state RN license, BLS and ACLS are required on hire. Minimum one year in acute care with critical care experience is preferred. Weekly pay and supportive career specialists accompany this assignment.

Qualifications

• Current, valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• ACLS (AHA) certification required on hire and maintained.
• Minimum of one year as staff nurse in acute care; critical care experience required.

Responsibilities

• Monitors quality of care, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
• Implements immediate care plan changes to promote patient safety.
• Conducts patient and family rounding to enhance the patient experience.
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and staff.
• Provides direct patient care as needed to maintain safe staffing ratios.
• Supports daily unit operations and communicates patient care or safety concerns.
• Manages staffing, scheduling, and assignments.
• Supervises, coaches, and evaluates staff; assists with performance management.
• Ensures adequate supplies, equipment functionality, and inventory levels.
• Coordinates with departments to support efficient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Oversees nursing staff and patient care during assigned shift.

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $52.00 to $60.00. This compensation estimate is specific to Maine and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
