Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Palo Alto, CA. The role involves scrubbing, monitoring, and assisting in advanced cardiac procedures, with 40 hours per week on 10-hour daytime shifts.

Candidate must have 1 year of cath lab experience, BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or CI- RCIS certification, and state licensing where required. Travel pay package and stipends apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab/ radiology experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS required; ARRT (R) – CI or CI- RCIS certification preferred.
• State licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cardiac lab rooms and ensure supplies and sterilization.
• Prepare patient and equipment for procedures; drape, calibrate, and set up equipment.
• Operate and QC equipment in the cath lab; scrub in during procedures.
• Assist physician in catheter manipulation and data recording.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and assist in life-saving measures.
