Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Cath Lab for a travel nursing job in Palo Alto, California. The role expects 1-2 years of acute care experience and requires BLS/PALS certifications. You will assist physicians in catheterizations, angioplasties and device implantations in a fast-paced Cath Lab.

Shifts are 10 hours with a 15-week duration and 40 hours per week. Weekly pay, benefits, and a tax-free stipend may apply as part of the travel package.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS and PALS certifications required.
• Cath Lab RN responsibilities include assisting in angioplasty, catheterization and electrophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Learn complex technologies and equipment used in Cath Lab environments.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization to diagnose or treat conditions.
• Assist with angioplasties, valvuloplasties and stent placements.
• Support pacemaker and ICD implantation procedures.
