Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Eureka, California. The role requires 1 year of cath lab experience, ARRT/CC I preferred or CCI-RCIS certification, and state licensing where required.

The Cath Lab Rad will scrub, monitor, and assist during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, with 10-hour days on a 40-hour week. BLS/ACLS required; travel benefits included.

Qualifications

• 1 year of cath lab experience required.
• ARRT (R) -CI or CCI-RCIS certification preferred.
• State licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cardiac lab procedure rooms with stock and sterilization as needed.
• Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac lab procedures.
• Operate and ensure quality control of cath lab equipment.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist physician with catheters.
• Record hemodynamic and angiographic data using appropriate equipment.
• Monitor patient status during procedures and participate in life-saving measures.
