Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 17-week assignment in Carmichael, California. The role requires 1 year of cath lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and RCIS preferred, with state licensing as needed.

The Cath Lab Technologist will scrub, monitor, and assist during advanced cardiac procedures, ensuring room readiness and equipment functionality. This is a travel position offering 40 hours per week, 10-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• 1 year clinical cath lab experience
• BLS, ACLS, RCIS preferred or CCI-RCIS
• state licensing as required

Responsibilities

• Scrub, monitor, and assist physicians during cardiac catheterization procedures.
• Prepare labs and ensure sterilized instruments and supplies are ready.
• Operate and troubleshoot Cath Lab equipment and hemodynamic monitors.
• Record hemodynamic data and assist with patient positioning.
• Assist in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and CPR.
• Maintain room readiness and ensure safety protocols are followed
