Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Charleston, South Carolina. This role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab, prepares patients and equipment, and ensures safety throughout procedures.

Requirements include one year of Cath Lab experience, BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification. Preferred license and additional certifications may apply.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications.
• Radiologic Technologist license preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile technique; ensure patient safety and proper infection control.
• Operate imaging equipment, document procedures, and manage equipment logs.
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of sterile instruments and medications.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies.
