Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Columbia, South Carolina. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and ensuring patient safety throughout the process.

The ideal candidate has one year of Cath Lab experience, current BLS and ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications. Preferred radiologic technologist license and related certifications are noted.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy.
• Operate imaging equipment, inject contrast, and monitor hemodynamic data.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field per protocols.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking supplies.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and dosimetry.
• Comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
