Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 26-week travel assignment in Eureka, CA. You will prepare patients and equipment, assist physicians during interventional cardiovascular procedures, and maintain strict safety and documentation standards in a fast-paced cath lab environment.

The role requires one year of recent Cath Lab experience, current BLS/ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certifications.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, and operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup per infection control and procedural protocols.
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including patient records and equipment logs.
