Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 15-week assignment in Carmichael, CA. The worker will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab, preparing patients, handling equipment, and maintaining patient safety throughout the procedure.

Ideal candidates will have 1 year of Cath Lab experience, ARRT/RCIS/RCES, BLS and ACLS certifications, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong teamwork

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents
• Operate imaging equipment and execute sterile technique
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup
• Maintain documentation for patient records and equipment logs
• Support inventory management and ensure sterile supplies are stocked
