Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Saint Helena, California. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prep patients and equipment, and maintain sterile technique in a fast-paced lab.

The role requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, active ARRT/RCIS/RCES, BLS and ACLS, and offers competitive pay, day-one benefits, and a strong clinical support team for travelers.

Qualifications

• One year’s recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS, ACLS certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Radiologic Technologist license preferred and other certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in, maintain sterile field, and follow infection control procedures.
• Document patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
