Job summary
Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab in Corona, CA is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 16-week travel assignment. You will prep patients, assist physicians, and operate imaging equipment in the cardiac catheterization lab while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
This role requires 1 year of Cath Lab experience, current BLS, ACLS, RCIS/RCES/ARRT certifications, and an active radiologic technologist license.
Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Cath Lab Tech.
- Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
- ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
- ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification.
- Radiologic Technologist license per state regulations.
- PALS/ENPC certifications may be required.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
- Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
- Scrub in and maintain sterile field; follow infection control protocols.
- Document patient data, imaging, and equipment logs accurately.
- Assist with inventory, stocking supplies, and instrument storage.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols and hospital policies.
