Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Eureka, CA. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and ensure patient safety throughout the cath lab process.

The role requires one year of recent Cath Lab experience, BLS/ACLS, and ARRT/RCIS/RCES certification. Preferred licenses and additional certifications may be required. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Preferred: Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations.
• PALS (AHA/ARC) or ENPC certifications may be required.
• Other certifications and licenses may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents; operate fluoroscopy and monitoring equipment.
• Operate imaging equipment, contrast injectors, and hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Scrub in and assist with sterile field setup; adhere to infection control protocols.
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis under direction.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, imaging data, and equipment logs.
• Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies and medications.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and use of protective equipment.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
