Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Eureka, CA. The role involves assisting in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, preparing patients and equipment, and supporting the procedural team in a high‑pressure environment.

You’ll operate imaging equipment, monitor hemodynamics, and ensure patient safety while adhering to sterility and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Cath Lab Tech experience.
• Current BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification.
• Current ACLS (AHA/ARC) certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization and related procedures.
• Assist physicians during procedures with catheters, wires, balloons, and stents.
• Operate fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment.
• Scrub in and maintain sterile field setup.
• Perform sheath removal and hemostasis as directed.
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging data, and logs.
• Assist with inventory and supplies management.
• Follow radiation safety protocols and use dosimeters.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties within scope of practice.
