Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the catheterization lab. You will prepare patients, equipment, and ensure sterile technique while monitoring hemodynamic data and assisting physicians with pass-through devices.

Required is a recent 1-year Cath Lab experience with current BLS/ACLS, and ARRT/RCES/RCIS certifications preferred; strong communication and teamwork skills are essential in this fast-paced

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current.

• Ability to handle equipment and move patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cath lab.
• Prepare patients and equipment for procedures.
• Monitor hemodynamic data during procedures.
• Pass catheters, wires, balloons, and stents as directed.
• Operate imaging and monitoring equipment and maintain sterility.
• Document procedures and ensure patient safety and supplies.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities:

Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. Prepare patients and equipment, monitor hemodynamic data, assist physicians during procedures by passing catheters, wires, balloons, and stents, operate imaging and monitoring equipment, maintain sterile techniques, and ensure patient safety. Maintain accurate documentation, manage supplies, and adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards. Collaborate effectively with healthcare team to deliver high-quality care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Recent one-year experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certification
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to handle equipment and move patients
• Proficiency in reading instructions, PC skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure, maintain concentration, and communicate visually and verbally
