Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing patients and equipment for procedures such as cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placement
• Assisting physicians during procedures by passing instruments and operating imaging and monitoring equipment
• Maintaining sterile technique and ensuring patient safety
• Operating and maintaining specialized imaging and hemodynamic systems
• Performing sheath removal and documentation of procedures and equipment logs
• Managing inventory, supplies, and adhering to safety and infection control protocols

Qualifications and skills required:

• One year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
• Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certifications
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and work in high-pressure environments
• Proficiency in reading instructions, documentation, and using PC systems
• Visual acuity and ability to work effectively with a team

Preferred qualifications include:

• Valid radiologic technologist license
• PALS or ENPC certifications
