Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. in New Hampshire seeks a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the catheterization lab.

Qualifications

• At least one year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ARRT/RCES/RCIS certification required (or RCIS).

• Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment, and document procedures accurately.

Job description

Role & Responsibilities:

Assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. Prepare patients and equipment, monitor hemodynamic data, operate imaging equipment, and support physicians during procedures such as catheterizations, angioplasty, and stent placements. Ensure patient safety, maintain sterile techniques, document procedures accurately, manage supplies, and adhere to safety and regulatory protocols. Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care.

Qualifications & Skills:

Requires at least one year of recent experience as a Cardiac Cath Lab Tech, current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certifications. Preferred licenses include radiologic technologist and additional certifications like PALS or ENPC. Must possess critical thinking, excellent communication, physical dexterity, and the ability to work under pressure. Visual acuity and interpersonal skills are essential.

Key Duties:

Prepare and assist with cardiac procedures, operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment, assist with sterile setup, perform sheath removal, ensure documentation accuracy, manage supplies, and follow safety protocols. Flexibility in performing assigned tasks within scope of practice is required.
