American Traveler is seeking an Electrophysiology Technologist for a high-volume EP lab, performing ablations, implants, and LAA closures. You will work a 4x10 schedule with 1:1 patient care and must have 2+ years of EP experience and RCIS/RCES certification.

Requirements include BLS/ACLS, applicable license, and Epic EMR proficiency. Travel-friendly position with housing allowances and comprehensive benefits. Candidates residing 50 miles away and willing to relocate are welcome.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required.
RCIS/RCES certification required (CCI RCES/RCIS preferred if not already required).
BLS & ACLS required; license required if applicable.
Experience with arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, and pacemaker-related procedures.
Cardiac ablation, mapping, and conduction studies experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate in a 9-room EP lab performing ablations, implants, and LAA closures.
Work 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM.
Provide 1:1 patient care; float to other campuses as needed.
Maintain sterile fields, assist as room circulator or scrub tech.
Experience with Epic EMR is required; participate in a high-performing team.

Requirements

BLS, ACLS required; RCIS, RCES required (CCI RCES and CCI RCIS preferred if not already required); license required if applicable
Experience with arrhythmia induction, cardioversion, insertion/programming of AICDs, left atrial appendage closure, pacemaker insertion, and tilt table studies required
Cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, and conduction studies experience preferred
Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG compliance exam with two attempts allowed
Current driver's license required
Skills in 3D imaging, vascular closure systems, and central venous access preferred
Experience with fluoroscopy equipment (Philips, Siemens) and ultrasound preferred

Responsibilities

9-room lab with 2 highly active EP labs performing ablations, implants, and LAA closures
4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Floating required as needed, including to any Cone Health campus
1:1 patient ratio
Epic EMR experience required
Work within a high-level, multidisciplinary team focused on excellent patient outcomes
Responsibilities include equipment setup, EKG lead placement, access site prep, recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias, and maintaining sterile fields
May serve as room circulator or scrub in for procedures
