American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of cardiac cath, EP, IR, and neuro experience for an acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities include diagnostic/interventional cardiac cath, structural heart procedures, neurointervention, and CRM device implants. 4x10 hour days, on-call weekly and every fourth weekend; travel-friendly role with housing and per diem options.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years cath lab experience.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required.
Active license if applicable.
EP, IR, vascular, monitoring and neuro experience.
Epic charting experience required.
Two supervisory references within last 3 years.
Hepatitis B vaccination required.

Responsibilities

Acute care hospital cath lab performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization including STEMI, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart.
Structural heart procedures such as PFO closure, TAVR and MitraClip.
Interventional radiology procedures including lines, drains, embolizations, stroke thrombectomy.
Neurointervention and CRM device implants.
4x10 hour day shifts 7:00 AM–5:30 PM with some Saturdays.
On-call one shift per week and every fourth weekend.
May float to Interventional Radiology and EP, and to nearby affiliates.
Charting performed in Epic.
Philips X-ray system preferred.
Facility recognized as USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska with 407 beds.
Scrubs provided; Free parking available.
First-time travelers accepted.
Must work 2 of 3 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year.
Only one time off request per 13-week assignment.
Local candidates not accepted; 50+ miles from facility.
Former staff separation of 3 months before returning as traveler; 50-mile radius rule.
Maximum assignment length 1 year, then 6-month break before returning.

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of cardiac cath, EP, IR, and neuro experience for an acute care hospital setting requiring ARRT(R) or RCIS certification.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ARRT (R) or RCIS certification required
License required if applicable, and must be active at time of consideration
EP, IR, vascular, monitoring, and neuro experience required
Epic charting experience required
Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
Hepatitis B vaccination required; titers or declinations not accepted

Responsibilities

Acute care hospital with a Level II Trauma designation and Magnet recognition
Cath Lab unit performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization including STEMI, IABP, Impella, and Tandem Heart cases
Structural heart procedures such as PFO closure, TAVR, and MitraClip
Interventional radiology procedures including lines, drains, embolizations, upper/lower extremity interventions, fistulas, visceral angio/intervention, and stroke thrombectomy
Neurointervention and cardiac rhythm management (CRM) device implants
4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with some Saturdays included as part of the regular schedule
On-call required one shift per week and every fourth weekend
May float within scope to Interventional Radiology and EP, as well as to nearby affiliate hospitals
Charting performed in Epic
Philips X-ray system preferred
