Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an EP Lab Technologist for a Magnet, Level II Trauma hospital in Alaska. The role requires 2+ years in Cath Lab and EP procedures, plus BLS/ACLS and Epic charting experience. You will perform EP studies, catheterizations, and structural heart interventions while supporting a busy interventional unit.

Facilities offer generous housing, travel reimbursements, and non-taxed per diem; candidates must reside 50 miles away and be willing to work holidays and on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of cath lab and EP procedures experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Epic charting experience required.
• License required if applicable.
• Experience with vascular studies and electrophysiology studies required.

Responsibilities

• Work in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, and Interventional Radiology
• Perform EP studies, cardiac catheterization, structural heart interventions (TAVR, Mitral Clip, PFO), and neurointervention procedures
• Cases include STEMI, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, CRM device implants, and vascular studies
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including some required Saturdays as part of scheduled shifts
• On-call coverage from 6-8 PM for EP cases that run late
• May float to other units within scope to meet facility needs
• Uses Epic for charting and Philips X-Ray System
• Facility is a Magnet, Level II Trauma hospital recognized as a USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska
• Scrubs provided
• Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• Candidates must have a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility
• First-time travelers will be considered
• Former permanent staff must have a 3-month separation before returning as a traveler
• RTO must be submitted and approved individually at time of offer
