Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of Cath Lab experience and WA licensure for an acute/outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include performing Cardiac Cath Lab, EP, IR, Neuro, and Vascular procedures with a mix of case types. Shifts are 4x10 hours, with on-call approx every 5th weekend; travel jobs include housing and licensure support.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Cath Lab experience; EP experience preferred.
• WA state license required (CVT/RCIS/ARRT) if applicable.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• RCIS or ARRT R certification required/preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures incl. PCI and related tech.

Responsibilities

• Acute, outpatient, and inpatient/emergent care setting.
• Performs Cardiac Cath Lab, EP, IR, Neuro, and Vascular procedures.
• Case types: Coronary/PCI, Vascular, Peripheral, IR, Neuro, Structural Heart, EP, Pacemaker/ICD.
• Approximately 20–25 scans/procedures per day.
• Charting with Xper and Epic (Care Connect/Cupid).
• 4×10 hour days, 7:00–19:30? (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM).
• On-call ~5th weekend (Fri–Sun), 5–8 days/month.
• No float within scope or to sister facilities.
• First-time travelers considered with 3+ years at large facilities; Level 1/2 trauma preferred.
• Scrubs provided; Free on-site parking.
• Local candidates within 60 miles.
• WA license applications accepted; start may be delayed up to 8 weeks.

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of Cath Lab experience and WA licensure (CVT, RCIS, or ARRT) for an acute/outpatient setting.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of Cath Lab experience required, EP experience preferred
• WA state license required (CVT, RCIS, or ARRT) - license required if applicable
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• RCIS or ARRT R certification required/preferred
• Epic experience preferred but not required
• Skills in venous access, central venous and PICC line care, EKG lead placement, and vascular closure systems
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic and left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, IABP placement, Impella insertion, and pacemaker/TAVR/Watchman procedures preferred
• Experience with vascular, neuro, and GU interventional studies and procedures
• Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control practices
• Ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and perform accurate hemodynamic monitoring

• Case types include Coronary Angio/PCI, Vascular/AAA, Peripheral, IR, Neuro, Structural Heart, EP, and Pacer/ICD procedures
• Approximately 20-25 scans/procedures per day
• Common equipment includes Philips, CSI, Rotablator, Shockwave, Inari, Impella, IABP, FFR, IVUS, JetStream, AngioJet, and TurboHawk
• Charting systems used are Xper and Epic (Care Connect/Cupid)
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call required approximately every 5th weekend (Fri-Sun), totaling 5-8 days per month
• Does not float within scope or to sister facilities
• First-time travelers considered if they have 3+ years of experience at large facilities, Level 1 or 2 trauma preferred
• Scrubs required and provided by the facility
• Free on-site parking available
• Local candidates accepted within 60 miles of the facility
• Previous PeaceHealth employees must have been separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Candidates with more than one DUI are not eligible for consideration
• Pending WA state license applications accepted, though start date may be delayed up to 8 weeks while licensure is processed
