Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist to perform diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures with 2+ years of cath lab experience required.

The role is based in Sierra Vista, AZ, with a 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM schedule, every other weekend, and on-call duties. Travel rate applies for non-local candidates; local candidates receive the local rate. GE equipment used; Cerner EHR in place.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years cath lab experience required.
• Diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedure experience required.
• Preference for experience with manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, IABP and pre/post unit care.

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit within a 90-bed acute care hospital.
• Adult patient population with CAD common diagnosis.
• Scrub tech staff cover cath, stress testing, TEE, and tilt table studies.
• Uses GE equipment and Cerner EHR.
• 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM shift schedule.
• Every other weekend rotation with on-call responsibilities.
• Call requirement of more than 12 days.
• Occasional floating to Interventional Radiology.
• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures including cath, stress testing, TEE, and tilt table studies.
• Hospital-provided scrubs.
• Orientation biweekly.
• Candidates must live 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel rate.
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered at the local rate.
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months.
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time.
