Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 3+ years of Cath Lab experience, including diagnostic and interventional structural procedures, for a Level IV trauma teaching hospital.

You will perform 8-10 cases daily on 4x10 hour shifts (6:30 AM–5:00 PM) with on-call 30-minute response and weekend rotation. Cerner charting is used; housing and travel/licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years Cath Lab experience with diagnostic, interventional, and structural procedures.
BLS and ACLS certification through AHA.
WV state license or Compact license required; active WV license and ARRT registration to start.
Experience with left heart cath, stent placement, PCI and PTCA.
Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; no RTO restrictions for travel assignments.

Responsibilities

Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab procedures.
Daily caseload of 8-10 cases per technologist.
4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM; on-call with 30-minute response time; weekend rotation.
May float within Cath Lab; use Cerner charting; work at a Level IV Trauma Center.

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 3+ years of Cath Lab experience including diagnostic and interventional structural procedures for a Level IV Trauma teaching hospital.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years Cath Lab experience required, competent in diagnostic, interventional, and structural procedures
BLS and ACLS certification required through AHA
WV state license or Compact license required; pending license accepted for submission but active WV license and ARRT registration required to start assignment
License required if applicable (WV does not recognize RCIS as licensed to work in the Cath Lab)
Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, cardiac implant closure devices, stent placement, IABP placement/removal, PCI, and PTCA
Skilled in left heart catheterization, dysrhythmia interpretation, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias
Proficient in scrub procedures, equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, and room circulation
Minimum 2 years of experience required for manager or charge nurse references
First-time travelers not accepted; prior Cath Lab experience required

Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from last employment date before returning as a traveler
Current Vandalia Health System employees (including CAMC, Mon Health, and affiliated hospitals) are not eligible for travel contracts within the system
Local candidates accepted at the same rate
