Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for an acute care hospital assignment in Eureka, California. The 4x10 hour day shifts run from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, totaling 40 hours per week, with no weekend requirement though call is required.

Candidates should have 2+ years in cath lab procedures, ARRT-R, BLS, ACLS, and a fluoroscopy permit. RCIS is preferred (RCIS with 5+ years acceptable) and Epic/PACS experience is a plus. Local rules may apply; travel candidates welcomed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cath lab procedures required.
• ARRT-R, BLS, and ACLS certification required.
• Fluoro Permit required; pending permit considered if applied for at time of consideration.
• CCI RCIS preferred; RCIS acceptable with 5+ years experience.
• RCIS alone not accepted in place of ARRT.
• License required if applicable.
• Epic charting experience preferred.
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy equipment and PACS system.
• Experience with cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, pacemaker insertions.
• Experience maintaining sterile field, equipment setup, and accurate procedural monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with a daily caseload of 8-12 procedures including coronary, peripheral, and pacemaker cases.
• Work in an acute care hospital cath lab setting.
• Maintain sterile technique and procedural monitoring.
• Operate fluoroscopy equipment and PACS systems.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
