Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab experience for an acute care hospital setting requiring BLS, ACLS, and RCIS certification. The role involves performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, EPIC charting, and on-call duties.

You will work in a 304-bed Cath Lab unit with 4x10 hour shifts, rotating and with limited float between units. Qualifying candidates have SC licensure if applicable, RCIS/ARRT certification, and a strong background

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required.
BLS and ACLS certification required.
RCIS (registered or in process) or ARRT certification required.
South Carolina license required if applicable.
Community hospital experience required.
EPIC charting experience preferred.
Proficient in coronary diagnostic and intervention scrubbing and monitoring.
SSN available for consideration.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures including left/right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, cardiac stent placement.
Use EPIC charting system and PACS for documentation and imaging.
Rotating 4x10 hour day shifts (0700-1730 and 0930-2000).
On-call one weekend per 7 weeks plus weekly call shift and evening shift.
Holiday coverage as needed.
Travelers may be considered depending on position needs.
