Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel assignment in Eureka, California. The role involves assisting in cardiac catheterization and related procedures, with 40 hours per week and 10-hour shifts.

Requirements include 1 year of Cath Lab experience and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) - CI or CCI-RCIS, with state licensing as required. Travel benefits and a stipend may apply.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Cath Lab experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) - CI or CCI-RCIS certification, and state licensing as required.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Cardiac Lab procedure rooms with equipment and stock, sterilize instruments as needed.
• Prepare patient and equipment for cardiac lab procedures, draping and setting up catheters and instruments.
• Operate and QC all cardiac lab equipment and assist physicians during procedures.
• Scrub in during procedures and assist the physician with catheter maneuvers.
• Record hemodynamic and angiographic data using appropriate equipment.
• Monitor patient hemodynamics during procedures in the cath lab.
• Assist in life-saving measures including CPR and defibrillation when needed.
