Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist in St. Helena, CA to assist physicians with cardiovascular procedures. EPIC experience and ARRT-R certification are required; the role supports invasive and non-invasive diagnostics in the cardiac cath lab.

Shift is 5x8s, 40 hrs/wk, 13-week assignment starting ASAP. Candidates must hold CA license, fluoroscopy license within 6 months, and BLS. Prior cath lab experience preferred; responsibilities include patient monitoring, radiation safety,

Qualifications

• ARRT-R certification is required.
• RT license valid in CA/HI where applicable.
• Current Fluoroscopy license required in CA within 6 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
• One year of cardiac catheterization experience preferred.
• EPIC experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists cardiologists and radiologists during procedures, including administration of contrast media.
• Monitors and records patient vital signs during procedures.
• Applies radiation safety standards and patient protection.
• Maintains sterile and aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of cath lab equipment.
