Job summary

Hawthorne Health is expanding its Home Network and seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for an in-home imaging study across the U.S. You will travel to patient homes, operate portable ultrasound gear, and perform echocardiograms and vascular studies per protocol.

This is a full-time, W2 contract for 3–4 months with a guaranteed monthly stipend and travel reimbursements; extension potential exists depending on study needs.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac imaging (RDCS) and vascular imaging (RCS/RVT/RVS).
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally.
• Full-time availability for 3–4 months.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes to conduct visits, averaging around 25 per month.
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain ASE standards and perform basic equipment troubleshooting.
