Job summary

Hawthorne Health is seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers for a 3-4 month, full-time home-visit study across the United States. The role involves traveling regionally to patient homes to perform in-home cardiac and vascular imaging, with an expected ~25 visits per month.

You'll transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment, perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol, and prepare preliminary reports.

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac and vascular imaging (e.g. RDCS/RCS with RVT/RVS)
• Full time or near full time availability
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel locally/regionally

Responsibilities

• Travel to patient homes for imaging visits (approx. 25 per month)
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging
• Follow sponsor and protocol imaging guidelines
• Label images accurately for cardiology review and complete preliminary reports
• Maintain ASE standard quality and troubleshoot equipment
