Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Newburgh, Indiana. This PCU travel position runs 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, primarily 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS are required; NIH may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care and stabilize cardiac patients.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Administer and record prescribed medications, report adverse reactions.
• Monitor equipment and interpret electronic displays.
• Initiate corrective action based on monitoring data.
