Start date 01/05/2026; requires active NE license or compact, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; salary is $2,392 per week with tax-free stipends and travel/licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Active NE or compact RN license is required at consideration.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be active.
• Minimum 2 years RN experience; 1 year in cardiac stepdown/CVU preferred.
• Experience with titration of cardiac drips.
• Ability to read telemetry strips and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Cardiac Telemetry Stepdown unit in an acute hospital.
• Care for cardiac and vascular patients with conditions like CVA, CHF, A-fib RVR.
• Maintain telemetry monitoring and operate equipment; read ECGs.
• Follow nurse-to-patient ratios (1:4, 1:3 for post-surgical first 24h).
• Titrate drips (Amio, nitro, nicardipine, epi, cardizem) as ordered.
• Collaborate with hospitalists and cardiology on-call after hours.
