Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Travel RN/Cardiac Telemetry for a Wilmington, North Carolina assignment. The role focuses on cardiac telemetry/stepdown with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, 3x12, for 13 weeks starting 12/29/2025.

Candidates need at least 2 years of cardiac experience, active NC license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and Epic/Pyxis experience. This travel position includes a competitive weekly pay and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Active NC license or compact license in hand at start
• Minimum 2 years of recent cardiac floor experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start
• Epic charting experience required
• Proficiency with cardiac telemetry, stepdown care, sheath removal, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac drip management, and non-invasive airway management

Responsibilities

• Cardiac Telemetry unit care for post-MI, post-cath patients and related diagnoses
• Work 3×12 hour night shifts (18:45–07:15), 36 hours per week
• Follow unit rotation for floating within hospital or affiliates
• Participate in Storm or Hurricane Team and potential reassignment during emergencies
• Provide pre- and post-cardiac cath care and manage cardiac drips
