Job summary

Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab to join our travel nursing team in Cedar Rapids, IA. You will care for patients undergoing PCI and structural heart procedures, operating Cath Lab equipment, and collaborating with the interventional team.

The position requires 24+ months Cath Lab experience, active Iowa license or compact, and ACLS/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 24 months of recent Cath Lab experience.
• Experience with coronary PCI and structural heart procedures is essential.
• Proficiency with Impella, IABP, and Penumbra devices required.
• Vasopressors and vasodilators experience necessary.
• Glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors knowledge required.
• Active Iowa license or compact multistate license at submission.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients undergoing coronary PCI and structural heart procedures.
• Monitor patients in the Cath Lab and post-procedure period.
• Collaborate with interventional cardiology team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
